AFCO, SOAD Announces Massive Volunteer Recruitment to Boost Continental Food Security.
The African Farmers and Cultural Organization (AFCO), in strategic collaboration with the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD), is proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive Volunteer Farm Workers Recruitment initiative.
The landmark program aims to bridge the agricultural labor gap by deploying trained volunteers to support farmers across various countries, states, and local governments.
As the farming season approaches, AFCO and SOAD expressed their commitment which is to revitalize the agricultural sector through community service-driven action. The initiative would provide free support to farmers in need, with all logistical costs—including transport, materials, and feeding allowances—covered via public sponsorship donation and organizational funding.
Speaking on the launch of the initiative, Prince Chuks Esiole, President of AFCO, emphasized the importance of youth involvement and continental self-sufficiency.
“Our mission is to transform the landscape of African agriculture by empowering the hands that feed the nation. Through this partnership with SOAD, we are not just providing labor; we are cultivating a new generation of skilled agricultural entrepreneurs.
We invite everyone—from those looking to start their farming journey to those wanting to serve their community—to join us in this movement toward food security and economic prosperity.” Esiole said.
