FESTIVAL OVERVIEW

PAN-African Produces and Cultural festival (PACFEST) is an occupational festival been organized by African Farmers and cultural Organization AFCO NGO, in collaboration with International Organization of Folkart (IOV-world/UNESCO) Covering 193 countries in the world.

It’s a celebration of unity and the common cultural bonds that has made humankind mutually dependent on nature for existence and wellbeing. The main purpose of the festival is to bring Nations closer, through foods, Dance, Music, Traditional Sport, Narratives, Healings by natural remedies, and traditional knowledge and practice that are the origin of human civilization which support oneness of purpose for the greater good of humanity.

PAN-African Produces and Cultural festival (PACFEST) is committed to the promotion of agricultural products and its producers, maintaining the ideal of international fair-trade, strengthening international friendship amongst nation, reinforcement of peace ideals and support of innovations to sustained long-established enriching traditions.

The 14 days or more events will feature 25 international groups, at list 50 Africa national group participants.

Event are traditional and modern dance, music, folks singing, folk dance, Food show, traditional women wrestling, and traditional men wrestling, scientific seminal, traditional conference, exhibition of made in African produces and sightseeing.

The festival has double objectives:

  1. Promoting Agricultural goods, and developing its commercial potentials for job creation.

Il. Supporting agriculture practice as an instrument of peace amongst nations, and safe guarding traditional cultural heritage for future generation.

FESTIVAL AIMS

  1. To market Agricultural goods and audience development.
  2. To expand business network and create more opportunities for the farmers and farm-craft practitioners.
  • To galvanize social and political opportunities for the people attending the events.
  1. To establish Ghana in the global Agricultural business community.

FESTIVAL MISSION

To educate and inspire youths to go into agrobusiness and entrepreneurship; challenge the old perception of farming, and provide a new point of view on agricultural diversification as occupation.

FESTIVAL TARGET IN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE SEASON. 

To create 20000 jobs round Africa directly or Indirectly which Ghana are meant to benefit as hosting country of the coming season.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Farmers, Business organizations, Youths, workers, children, Cultural practitioners and General Public.

PROPOSED FESTIVAL PROMOTERS

  • Government of the hosting country Technical and logistics expectation of 25% Equity contribution
  1. We request to synergize with Gambia Government to plan and execute the festival in Gambia.
  2. Provide maximum Security support trough out the planning and festival event.
  3. Safety support (Emergency safety standby team)
  4. Provide Venues for the Festival flag off fund raising launch/Banquet and main Festival event.
  5. Assist non-ECOWAS citizens attending the festival event obtaining entry visas easily, possibly visa on arrival or E-Visa.
  6. Tax free on goods below 150kg of products samples Exhibitors will coming inn to the country for showcasing. (Note: only made in African products will be allow to be showcased at the festival ground).
  7. Government of Hosting Country to use their good office to partner with AFCO, and all our Alliance to invite all Economy and political power holder in Africa and African in Diasporas, African Presidents and their Ambassadors to attend the festival Launch/Flag Off Banquet to be held in the Hosting Country (August 2025). The reason for this is to sensitize the continent about the upcoming festival and its importance and benefits to Africa at home and in Diasporas, and also to raise fund to subsidized cost of participation to groups and individual from deferent parts of the world attending the festival.
  8. Government of Hosting Country to use their good office to partner with AFCO, and all our Alliance in scouting for sponsorship of the festival Launch/Flag Off Banquet and the Main Festival around Africa and in diaspora.
  9. Government of Hosting Country to use their good office to partner with AFCO, and all our Alliance to secure courtesy visits appointment from the following:
  • Proposed Coo-Host His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. President of Republic of Ghana.
  • Some Notable Kings in Africa alongside with their country Presidents,
  • some Great reputable/Philanthropist round Africa and in diaspora.

Private sector fund 75%

PAC-FEST 2025/2026 FESTIVAL MODEL

25%/75% Public -Private Partnership model where:

  • Hosting Government Sponsors 25% of PAC-FEST Festival Project through equity contribution.
  • Private Sector in Africa sponsors the remaining 75% of PAC-FEST Festival.

OBJECTIVE:

 To generate capital for employment creation, wealth creation, Platform for collective sponsorship of projects and poverty alleviation projects targeted for farmers and artisans also food security in Ghana and Africa at large.
