African Farmers and Cultural Organization (AFCO) is a non-governmental and non- profitmaking organization, concerned about African Food Security, Fair Trade Inter-Relationship with other parts of the world and Folk Arts that promotes the high cultural heritage of AFRICANS.

The organization caters for Africa’s agricultural production, from small holding farmers to Large mechanized commercial farmers, towards achieving sustainability and preservation of our dynamic world. which dignifies us essentially as Africans, from what is predominantly African, (made in Africa) and which inspires other people of the world.

AFCO is endorsed by International Organization of Folk Art (IOV – World) for the keeping of the UNESCO Convention of Safeguarding the tangible and Intangible Global Cultural Heritage. African Farmers and Cultural Organization is a non-discriminatory organization which aligns with the principle of Africans Union, United Nations and UNESCO. The organization is open to all for the promotion of African produces and cultural heritage, without prejudice to race, gender, religion, political affiliation or social status. The organization is a platform for a robust connection of African farmers and Agri-commodity producers together, regardless of locations and stimulation of projects that will assist in increasing farming and cultural infrastructure of Africa.

To make the continent of Africa agriculturally more than self-sufficient and culturally commercial.

AFCO Mission:

To be the engine room of valuable interaction between African farmers, cultural practitioners, Africans at home and in the diaspora, by promoting the culture of “Eat What We PRODUCE! PRODUCE What We Eat!”.

 AFCO Objectives:

  1. To encourage farmers’ cooperation amongst Africans as well as other nations of the world, through diversified exchange programs in keeping with the idea of world peace.
  2. To showcase African commodity for investments and infrastructural developments.
  3. To assist African agricultural commodity producers to secure funding.
  4. To encourage research and developmental program for farmers cooperative unions, artists and artisans.
  5. To organize foods and cultural festivals, conferences, seminars, summits and workshops for youth skill development and job creation.
